Job Title: Senior Appian Certified Developer (Level 2)
Location: Austin, TX (Remote - Occasional onsite as needed)
Employment Type: Contract
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Appian Certified Developer (Level 2) to design, develop, and implement scalable business applications using the Appian low-code platform. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Appian SAIL interfaces, process modeling, and system integrations. The ideal candidate thrives in Agile environments and brings a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications using Appian SAIL and Process Models
- Build and maintain integrations with external systems using APIs and web services
- Optimize application performance, usability, and responsiveness
- Develop and execute unit and integration test cases
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to validate requirements and solutions
- Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and troubleshooting for deployed applications
Required Qualifications
- Appian Level 2 Senior Developer Certification (Required)
- Strong hands-on experience with Appian or comparable low-code platforms
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent design, development, and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Appian or low-code application development
- Experience with Government Acquisition Management Suite (GAMS)
- Prior experience supporting enterprise-level or public sector applications
Education
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree (high school diploma required)
