Summary

Title: SAP Techno/Functional Analyst (Finance)
Location: The Woodlands, TX 77380 (hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Duration: Contract to hire

Role Summary
This role is responsible for building and owning internal SAP Finance capability as the organization transitions away from heavy vendor dependency. The SAP Finance Techno-Functional Analyst will serve as a hands-on lead and the primary IT liaison to Finance stakeholders, balancing day-to-day support with strategic ownership of the SAP Finance landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Own and support the SAP Finance landscape, providing day-to-day break/fix support and minor enhancements
Lead configuration, light development, and ongoing optimization of SAP Finance modules
Own and drive SAP Finance upgrades and enhancements
Act as the primary IT partner to Finance and Accounting stakeholders, translating business requirements into SAP solutions
Manage and oversee third-party vendors for larger SAP Finance initiatives and implementations
Ensure SAP Finance best practices, system stability, and long-term scalability

Required Experience

Lead-level, hands-on SAP experience in enterprise environments
Strong techno-functional SAP Finance experience across:
- SAP S/4HANA Finance
- FI / CO (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost & Profitability)
Experience supporting and enhancing live SAP production environments, not just project implementations
Ability to balance strategic ownership with hands-on execution

Skills & Attributes

Strong business-facing and communication skills
Consultative mindset with the ability to influence and guide Finance leadership
Comfortable owning the SAP Finance environment end-to-end, from daily support to major initiatives
Experience working alongside system integrators and managing vendor relationships
