Palantir Foundry Full Stack Developer

Position: Palantir Foundry Full Stack Developer

Location: NYC, NY - Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite

Primary Skill: Data Engineering, Python, Apache 

Experience

·       10–12 years of overall experience.

·       3–4 years of experience as a Palantir Developer. 

Job Description

·       Should have experience in executing projects and leading engineering teams to tackle key data-driven technology initiatives.

·       Should be a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both front-end and back-end programming.

·       Develop and design front-end web user interfaces using a composable architecture.

·       Integrate existing datasets and models.

·       Develop and maintain semantically driven object ontologies.

·       Ensure the responsiveness of applications.

·       Develop front-end website architecture based on Palantir Foundry.

·       Design user interactions on web pages within Palantir Foundry Workshop.

·       Develop back-end code logic that leverages semantic object linking (ontologies) within Palantir Foundry Pipeline Builder, Code Workbook, and Ontology Manager. 

Required Skills: Strong Palantir Foundry experience. 

Proficiency with server-side languages for structured data processing:

·       Python

·       PySpark

·       Java

·       Apache Spark

·       SparkSQL 

Proven experience building and operating distributed storage, messaging, or compute systems, including:

·       Apache Spark

·       Kafka

·       Kubernetes

·       Ray

·       Custom distributed engines 

Deep understanding of:

·       Data structures

·       Schema evolution

·       Microservice architectures

·       Designing robust, developer-friendly APIs 

Strong familiarity with cloud-native tooling:

·       AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform

·       Docker

·       Kubernetes

·       Terraform 

Enterprise Environment

·       Experience operating in heterogeneous or restricted enterprise environments. 

Key Responsibilities

·       Execute data-driven technology initiatives and lead engineering teams.

·       Develop front-end and back-end solutions using Palantir Foundry.

·       Build and maintain semantically driven object ontologies.

·       Develop web user interfaces using Palantir Foundry Workshop.

·       Develop back-end logic using Palantir Foundry Pipeline Builder, Code Workbook, and Ontology Manager.

·       Work with structured data processing technologies including Python, PySpark, Java, Apache Spark, and SparkSQL.

·       Design and operate distributed systems and robust APIs.

·       Work with cloud-native technologies and enterprise infrastructure.
