The Materials Engineering Intern will work within the BE Materials Lab team under the direction of full-time Materials engineers.

What you will do:
The Materials Engineering Intern will work within the BE Materials Lab team under the direction of full-time Materials engineers.
How you will do it:
The activities that the intern would perform include:
- Sample Preparations of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.
- Etching, polishing and microscopy of various metallic alloys .
- Use of Image Analysis software for documenting and analyzing various microstructures.
- EDS/SEM analysis of materials including imaging and spectral analysis.
- Mechanical testing of materials.
What we look for:
- Current Junior or Senior in a relevant Engineering field at an accredited university.
- Candidates with a major in Materials Science or with strong background or experience in Materials preferred.
