Technical Support Lead

Position Overview

The Technical Support Lead is responsible for overseeing the technical support operations for SAP Commerce implementation projects, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in core Java, Spring, Spring Security, Hybris (SAP Commerce), and coding practices, along with proven experience in technical support environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the technical support team, providing guidance and training as required.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues related to SAP Commerce (Hybris) implementation projects.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues in Java, Spring, and Hybris platforms.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of SAP Commerce solutions.
  • Monitor system health and proactively address potential bottlenecks or vulnerabilities, especially in Spring Security frameworks.
  • Document and maintain support procedures, technical solutions, and best practices.
  • Participate in client meetings and provide technical expertise for ongoing projects.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational standards and security policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge in core Java, Spring, Spring Security, Hybris (SAP Commerce), and coding standards.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical support roles in SAP Commerce(Hybris) implementation projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a technical team.
  • Experience in incident management and root cause analysis.
