Candidates MUST go on site 3 days/week Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced
Workday Developer to support and enhance the Workday HCM platform across Global Human Resources Technology. This role is hands-on and technical, focused on configuration, development, testing, and optimization of Workday solutions, including support of semi-annual Workday Feature Releases, downstream initiatives, and
custom applications built using Workday Extend.
The Workday Developer will partner closely with business stakeholders, architects, and fellow developers to design, build, test, and deploy scalable Workday and Workday Extend solutions that improve business processes, user experience, data integrity, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Design, configure, and develop Workday HCM solutions across multiple modules to support evolving business requirements
- Design and develop custom applications using Workday Extend, including UI, business logic, and data services
- Support and implement semi-annual Workday Feature Releases, including impact analysis, configuration updates, testing, and deployment
- Translate business requirements into technical Workday and Workday Extend solutions
- Configure Workday business processes, security roles, domains, and framework to ensure compliance and scalability
- Develop and support Workday reports, calculated fields, EIBs, and data loads
- Build and maintain integrations supporting both core Workday and Extend applications
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT for Workday and Extend solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to configuration, Extend applications, integrations, data, or security
- Ensure all changes adhere to Enterprise Change Management and Application Management standards
- Collaborate with architects and developers to align solutions with enterprise architecture and development best practices
Technical Skills & QualificationsRequired:- 3+ years of hands-on Workday HCM development experience
- Experience developing custom applications using Workday Extend
- Strong experience in at least three Workday modules, including:
- Core HCM
- Compensation
- Talent
- Payroll
- Time Tracking
- Absence
- Benefits
- Solid understanding of Workday Extend architecture, data services, and security model
- Deep understanding of Workday business process framework, core setup, and security configuration
- Strong knowledge of the Workday data model, reporting, calculated fields, and data loading tools (EIBs)
- Experience working in Agile development environments
Preferred:- Workday Pro and/or Workday Certifications
- Workday Integrations experience (Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs)
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Workday Extend applications in production
Additional Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong experience with cloud-based, multi-tenant SaaS platforms
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across business, HR, and technology teams

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $96.00/hr.
