Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Engineer with 8–10 years of hands on development expertise to support two key initiatives:
1. ERP Connect Onboarding Dashboard – building backend APIs and supporting services enabling the Bank Onboarding team to onboard customers, accounts, and entitlements into the FISPAN Vendor Application.
2. Commercial Card Landing Page – enhancing the Online Message Management application to support dynamic content delivery on the MUFG Exchange Portal.
The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Java, Spring Boot, REST API development, and has strong exposure to React on the UI side. Experience working with OpenShift/Kubernetes and Azure DevOps is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot–based microservices and REST APIs for onboarding workflows.
• Implement backend logic, data processing pipelines, and integration components for ERP Connect onboarding processes.
• Collaborate with UI teams building dashboards and landing pages, ensuring backend services deliver accurate, scalable, and secure data.
• Enhance the existing Online Message Management application to support dynamic content management for the Exchange Portal.
• Develop efficient data models and queries using MS SQL Server.
• Deploy and manage services on OpenShift or Kubernetes clusters.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, technical design sessions, and production support activities.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and deployment workflows.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best engineering practices.
Required Skills & Experience
• 8–10 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• Strong proficiency in:
o Java (8+), J2EE
o Spring Framework, Spring Boot
o REST API development
o React (good to have hands-on experience)
o MS SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, data modeling)
• Experience with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, build/release processes).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Ability to work in fast-paced enterprise environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
