Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of hands-on experience in mainframe application development.
Strong proficiency in COBOL, DB2, and VSAM.
Solid understanding of JCL, CICS, and IMS (preferred but not mandatory).
Strong experience with batch processing and transaction processing systems.
Proficiency in DB2 database design, SQL queries, and performance tuning.
Experience with mainframe utilities (e.g., IDCAMS, SORT, File-Aid, Expeditor).
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
