Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior VMware & Windows Administrator with strong SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) and EUC (End User Computing) expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise virtualization infrastructure, Windows server environments, reliability engineering practices, and end-user computing platforms in a large-scale production environment.

This role requires hands-on technical leadership, operational excellence, automation skills, and the ability to work onsite in Irvine CA

Key Responsibilities

VMware Infrastructure Management

• Design, deploy, and support VMware vSphere environments
• Manage ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, HA, DRS
• Perform capacity planning and performance tuning
• Implement patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management
• Administer VMware Horizon (VDI) environments

Windows Server Administration

• Manage Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 environments
• Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP administration
• Patch management (WSSCCM)
• File/Print services and IIS management
• PowerShell scripting for automation

SRE (Site Reliability Engineering)

• Implement monitoring and observability tools
• Improve system reliability, availability, and performance
• Incident management and root cause analysis
• Automate repetitive tasks and infrastructure processes
• Define and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs

EUC (End User Computing)

• Support VDI environments (VMware Horizon preferred)
• Manage endpoint management tools (Intune/SCCM)
• Application packaging and deployment
• User profile and device lifecycle management

Required Skills

• 13+ years of VMware & Windows Administration experience
• Strong experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter
• Advanced Windows Server & Active Directory knowledge
• Experience with SRE principles and automation
• PowerShell scripting expertise
• Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Experience in enterprise production environments

Preferred Qualifications

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Microsoft certifications (MCSE/Azure Admin)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
• ITIL knowledge
• Experience in financial or large enterprise environments
