Description: We are looking for highly driven, independent engineers who can operate with minimal oversight and communicate effectively across teams.

Must-have skills:

8+Years of experience as Data Engineer
Strong SQL expertise (advanced queries, optimization, data validation)
Hands-on experience with BigQuery / Google Cloud Platform ecosystem
Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js
Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration

Core Expectations:

Operate as self-starters with the ability to pick up ambiguous problems and drive to resolution
Partner cross-functionally with data, product, and engineering stakeholders
Has delivered operational stability efforts.
Deliver high-quality, production-grade data solutions
Maintain strong focus on data accuracy, scalability, and performance
Communicate clearly on progress, risks, and dependencies

Operational / Delivery Focus:

Build and maintain data pipelines and transformations (ETL/ELT)
Perform data validation, debugging, and root cause analysis
Support production issues when needed, ensuring quick turnaround
Contribute to ongoing enhancements and backlog items
Ensure proper documentation, governance, and best practices
