Position Overview

Conduent is seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience using Dataedo to support the Medicaid Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and related analytics initiatives. This position plays a key role in bridging business, policy, and technical teams to ensure that Medicaid data assets are clearly documented, accurate, and aligned with state and federal reporting standards.

The ideal candidate will combine business analysis expertise with technical data documentation skills, supporting metadata management, data lineage, and business glossary development to promote transparency and consistency across the Medicaid data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Use Dataedo to document data dictionaries, data lineage, ER diagrams, and business glossaries across enterprise data assets.
Collaborate with data engineers and architects to capture metadata and maintain an up-to-date data catalog.
Translate business processes and requirements into detailed technical and functional documentation.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in data quality and structure.
Support the implementation of data governance policies and data management best practices.
Work closely with BI and analytics teams to ensure consistent definitions and understanding of key metrics and data sources.
Partner with stakeholders to prioritize data documentation needs and ensure accuracy and accessibility of metadata.
Facilitate workshops or sessions to gather requirements, validate documentation, and train users on Dataedo features when needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar technical role.
1+ year of hands-on experience using Dataedo for data documentation and metadata management.
Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, and SQL.
Experience creating ER diagrams, data dictionaries, and glossaries.
Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into business-friendly language.
Strong understanding of Medicaid data structures, including eligibility, claims, encounters, and provider datasets.
Experience working with tools such as Cognos, Tableau, or Informatica is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK).
