Workday HCM Core Consultant
Join our dynamic team as a Workday HCM Core Consultant, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our organization's Human Capital Management capabilities. You will work closely with HR professionals, IT teams, and business leaders to implement and optimize Workday's core HCM functionalities. Your expertise will ensure that our systems are configured to meet the evolving needs of our workforce, from onboarding new hires to managing employee data and processes efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Leverage strong hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM to manage various employee lifecycle stages, including hire, pre-hire, onboarding, change job, and termination processes.
- Design and configure complex business processes within Workday, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals. This includes defining business process steps, conditions, approvals, validations, notifications, and routing.
- Implement and manage Workday security configurations, including domain and business process security, role-based access, organization-based access, segment-based, and intersection security.
- Develop calculated fields and advanced reports within Workday, including complex and Metrix reports, to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Understand and integrate Core HCM configurations with other Workday modules, such as organizations, staffing, and the broader employee lifecycle, ensuring seamless data flow and process integration.
- Provide working knowledge of Workday Absence and Time Tracking, ensuring compliance and efficiency in these areas, although deep expertise is not required.
- Support Workday integrations and integration security, ensuring that data is accurately and securely exchanged between Workday and other systems.
Requirements
<>Required Skills- Extensive hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM, including Hire, Pre-Hire, Onboarding, Change Job, and Termination processes.
- Proven ability to design and configure complex business processes from the ground up, including all related components such as steps, conditions, approvals, validations, notifications, and routing.
- Strong understanding of Workday security configurations, including domain and business process security, role-based access, organization-based access, segment-based, and intersection security.
- Experience in creating calculated fields and building advanced reports within Workday, including complex and Metrix reports.
- Understanding of how Core HCM configuration connects with other Workday modules and the broader employee lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of Workday Absence and Time Tracking.
- Familiarity with Workday integrations and integration security.
- Deep expertise in Workday Absence and Time Tracking.
- Experience with Workday custom reports and dashboards.
- Knowledge of Workday Studio and Workday Customization.
- Experience with Workday Financials and Payroll modules.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
