Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Integration & Test Engineer to support production program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This role will focus on developing, improving, and supporting electronic test processes for complex circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and integrated systems across multiple technologies including RF, analog, digital, and power electronics.
The selected candidate will work closely with engineering teams, production technicians, and manufacturing personnel to define test strategies, troubleshoot product failures, improve test processes, and support day-to-day manufacturing operations. This position requires strong technical expertise in electronics testing, automated test systems, fixture design, and root cause analysis within a highly collaborative production environment.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and comfortable supporting both engineering development and manufacturing test operations while driving process improvements and production efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Define test process plans and determine the sequence of required test steps.
- Develop detailed test procedures including narratives, diagrams, photographs, and supporting documentation.
- Design and troubleshoot test fixtures interfacing between automated testers and production hardware.
- Define required tools, fixtures, instruments, software, interfaces, and test chambers necessary for testing activities.
- Support production Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) with day-to-day test engineering activities.
- Investigate and resolve test failures, product performance issues, and technician escalations.
- Analyze defect trends and test data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Improve test procedures, tooling, fixturing, software, and hardware to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
- Review schematics, drawings, parts lists, and technical documentation to determine testing methodologies.
- Support change management activities and engineering updates for production programs.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to improve test reliability and product performance.
Required Experience/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred.
- Equivalent hands-on experience in circuit card assembly (CCA) testing and troubleshooting may be considered.
- Experience supporting electronic test engineering within aerospace, defense, electronics manufacturing, or related industries.
- Strong troubleshooting experience with analog, digital, RF, and power electronics.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, test requirements, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Experience developing and supporting automated test systems and test procedures.
- Experience designing and troubleshooting test fixtures and interfaces between testers and products.
- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional engineering environments.

- Experience supporting high-reliability electronic systems.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
- Equivalent practical experience in CCA test engineering and troubleshooting may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Pay & Benefits Summary
- Pay Rate: $39.52 – $65.87/hour
