Job Description

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for modern web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in end-to-end testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile delivery environments.
This role requires strong coding skills, automation architecture experience, and the ability to drive quality engineering best practices across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright
• Develop automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing
• Implement Page Object Model (POM) and reusable test components
• Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Execute cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, WebKit)
• Review user stories and technical requirements to ensure testability
• Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with developers to resolve defects
• Improve test coverage and reduce regression cycle time
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices
• Ensure compliance with accessibility, security, and performance standards

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of QA experience with 4+ years in automation
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright
• Strong programming skills in:
• JavaScript / TypeScript (preferred)
• or Python / Java / C#
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
• Experience with Page Object Model (POM) or similar design patterns
• Experience in API automation testing
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and Git
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized testing
• Performance testing exposure (JMeter)
• Experience in microservices architecture testing
• ISTQB certification (nice to have)
