ROLE: Full Stack JavaScript/TypeScript Developer
END CLIENT LOCATION: 1221 Avenue of the Americas, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10020.
WORK ARRANGEMENT: On-site. Candidates must currently reside in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut and be able to commute to New York City daily.
DURATION: 7 months+ (potential for extension)
Our client, is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer specializing in JavaScript/TypeScript, modern web frameworks, REST APIs, and backend services.
TOP THREE SKILLS:
1. Full-stack application development.
2. JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web frameworks.
3. REST API and backend services development.
OTHER NOTABLE SKILLS:
- Current residence within the New York Tri-State Area (New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut) and reliable ability to commute to New York City daily; candidates outside the area will not be considered based on a future relocation commitment.
- Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and application architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments and contributing to sprint activities.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a full-time contract engagement supporting scalable web application development at Client’s New York City client facility.
The developer will work across front-end and back-end application layers, delivering responsive user experiences, APIs, integrations, and reliable services in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications.
- Build responsive front-end solutions using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver business solutions.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance, reliability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Work within Agile development environments and contribute to sprint activities.
