Role: Quality Assurance Engineer – Playwright (Web | Banking)

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Local candidates second round in-person interview)

Duration: Long-term contract

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer with strong experience in Playwright automation to support modern web applications in the banking domain. You will help ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable digital solutions in an AWS-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript)
Develop and execute E2E, regression, and functional tests
Validate banking workflows (transactions, payments, authentication)
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS tools)
Perform API, cross-browser, and microservices testing
Identify defects and collaborate on resolution
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards

Required Skills

10+ years in QA for web applications
Strong Playwright automation experience
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience in banking/financial domain
Knowledge of AWS environment
Familiarity with CI/CD, APIs, and Agile
