Job Details

Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Own and drive product strategy for key areas of the AI-powered ERP platform, with a focus on finance and accounting workflows.
Define product vision, roadmap priorities, and success metrics based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
Translate complex accounting processes into scalable software solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.
Partner with leadership to identify opportunities where AI can transform traditional finance operations.
Product Development & Execution
Manage the full product lifecycle from discovery and requirements gathering through development, launch, and optimization.
Write detailed product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
Collaborate closely with engineering, UX/design, data science, and customer teams to deliver high-impact features.
Prioritize product enhancements based on customer feedback, business impact, technical feasibility, and market opportunity.
Support agile development processes and ensure teams remain aligned on priorities.

Finance & Accounting Expertise
Serve as the internal subject matter expert on accounting workflows, financial operations, and ERP functionality.
Understand and improve workflows across areas such as:
General ledger
Accounts payable and receivable
Financial reporting
Month-end close
Revenue recognition
Budgeting and forecasting
Financial controls and compliance
Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to automate manual finance processes using AI.
Customer & Market Insights
Conduct customer interviews, gather feedback, and analyze usage data to identify product opportunities.
Work closely with customers, finance professionals, and business stakeholders to understand pain points.
Monitor ERP, fintech, and AI market trends to identify opportunities for differentiation.
Help communicate product value through customer stories, demos, and go-to-market materials.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or a similar software product role.
Strong background in accounting, finance, or financial operations.
Experience working with ERP, accounting software, fintech, or enterprise SaaS platforms.
Deep understanding of accounting principles and business finance workflows.
Ability to translate finance requirements into technical product solutions.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and design teams.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Intacct, or similar systems.
CPA, accounting degree, finance degree, or prior experience working in accounting/finance roles.
Experience building AI-powered products or automation tools.
Familiarity with machine learning concepts, data products, or AI workflows.
Experience working in a fast-paced startup or high-growth SaaS environment.
Experience working with enterprise customers and complex business processes.
