Job Summary:We are looking for a versatile, hands-on
Cloud & AI Solutions Engineer to help us design and build the next generation of digital tools for our industrial and enterprise operations. This is a role for a "practical visionary" someone who stays curious about emerging tech (like GenAI and automation) but has the technical grit to architect and implement those solutions in a real-world environment.
You will be the bridge between complex business needs and scalable technology, acting as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on expert to ensure our cloud and AI initiatives deliver actual value.
Primary Responsibilities- Solution Architecture: Translate business challenges into technical designs. You'll create blueprints for how we use cloud services and AI to improve workflows and data insights.
- Hands-on Implementation: You won't just hand over a slide deck. You will build prototypes, configure cloud environments, and develop the "first mile" of our AI and automation solutions.
- AI Adoption & Learning: Stay at the forefront of AI/ML and Generative AI. Identify where these tools can realistically improve our business processes and lead the effort to adopt them.
- Cloud Operations: Help us optimize our use of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. This includes modernizing legacy setups, improving security, and automating repetitive IT tasks.
- Strategic Change: Act as a technical mentor and advocate for modern technology. You'll help teams move away from "the way we've always done it" and toward more efficient, cloud-native ways of working.
Core Competencies- The "Architect" Mindset: Ability to see the big picture and understand how different systems (Identity, Data, Security, and Apps) fit together.
- Cloud Proficiency: Solid experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) and a strong understanding of M365 ecosystems.
- AI Curiosity: You don't need to be a data scientist, but you should understand how to leverage LLMs, APIs, and automation tools to solve problems.
- Practical Builder: Proficiency in modern "building" tools-whether that's scripting (Python/PowerShell), low-code automation, or Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Adaptability: A strong appetite for learning. You are comfortable moving between a factory-floor data problem and a corporate-office automation project.
Qualifications- 8+ years of experience in technical roles such as Systems Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or Solutions Engineering.
- Proven track record of taking a project from a "rough idea" to a "working solution."
- Excellent communication skills-the ability to explain a complex cloud migration or AI workflow to a non-technical stakeholder.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or energy sectors is a plus, but a "can-do" attitude and technical aptitude are more important.
