PeopleSoft FSCM Technical Architect

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior PeopleSoft FSCM Upgrade & Infrastructure Architect to support enterprise ERP upgrade and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for upgrading and maintaining PeopleSoft FSCM environments, managing middleware infrastructure, and supporting multiple application environments across Linux and Oracle platforms.

This role requires deep expertise in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 upgrades, PeopleTools administration, middleware technologies, environment management, troubleshooting, automation scripting, and search framework technologies. The consultant will work closely with application, database, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful delivery of upgrade and implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities

PeopleSoft Upgrade & Environment Management

• Lead PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 PUM upgrades and related infrastructure activities.
• Build, configure, clone, refresh, and maintain multiple PeopleSoft environments.
• Support concurrent ERP implementation and upgrade projects.
• Coordinate closely with database administrators and technical teams during upgrade activities.
• Ensure system stability, performance, and availability across all environments.

Infrastructure & Middleware Administration

• Install, configure, and support PeopleSoft infrastructure components.
• Administer and troubleshoot WebLogic, Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker, and related middleware technologies.
• Manage Linux-based application environments and Oracle platform integrations.
• Support environment migrations, patching, and system maintenance activities.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot complex issues within PeopleTools 8.6x environments.
• Resolve application, middleware, search framework, and integration issues.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Linux shell scripting and SQL.

Search Framework & Security

• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot PeopleSoft Search Framework.
• Support Elasticsearch and OpenSearch implementations.
• Ensure secure and reliable search indexing and performance.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Create technical documentation, environment diagrams, and support procedures.
• Participate in project planning, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, database, and vendor teams.
• Provide after-hours support during upgrades, migrations, and critical project milestones.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 PUM upgrades.
• 8+ years of experience administering PeopleSoft infrastructure and environments.
• 8+ years of experience with WebLogic and Tuxedo middleware administration.
• 8+ years of experience troubleshooting PeopleTools 8.6x environments.
• 8+ years of experience with Linux administration, shell scripting, and SQL.
• 4+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Search Framework, Elasticsearch, and/or OpenSearch.
• Strong experience managing multiple PeopleSoft environments and upgrade projects.
• Experience supporting Oracle database environments in coordination with DBAs.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

• Experience supporting public sector, government, or large enterprise ERP environments.
• Experience working with hosting or managed service providers.
• Experience with Phire change management solutions.
• Experience with Tivoli Workload Scheduler.
• Experience supporting ERP modernization, cloud migration, or infrastructure transformation initiatives.
