A globally leading consumer device company based in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Data Processing Operator/Data Annotator to join their team. This role focuses on utilizing various software tools to process visual 2D and 3D data, transforming raw data into mission-critical datasets.
Responsibilities:
Manually test hardware and software, and report the test results.
Operate hardware and software to perform data collection.
Follow SOP and training documentation to ensure completed annotation meets established project standards.
Adhere to established project standards to maintain annotation accuracy.
Work with different software tools to process visual 2D and 3D data.
Performs basic troubleshooting for resolving errors and/or software or hardware challenges.
Must-have skills:
1+ year of prior Data Annotation experience.
Medium/Expert level operating 3D software (e.g. SketchUp, Blender, Maya, 3DS Max) and/or Game Engine such as Unreal/Unity.
Experience using Windows PCs to create and modify documents (e.g. Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
Experience with the Ability to organize, move files, copy files, rename files, load images into the system.
Experience using Maya and/or Houdini software programs.
Ability to self-manage own work.
Ability to communicate effectively (written and spoken) and work with the multi-location annotation teams.
Must be okay with repetitive work.
Nice-to-have background and skills:
Programming/coding knowledge (especially Python).
Art or Computer science background.
Undergraduate degree.
1+ year experience working at companies like Apple, Google, Amazon, Tesla, Rivian, Microsoft, Scale AI, Waymo.
Additional preferences:
Candidates located near Sunnyvale, with less than 30 mins commute.
Candidates who can work fully on-site.
Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months with extension
