Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP EAM Functional Consultant to join our enterprise team. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional technical teams, business stakeholders, and operations leads to optimize plant performance, streamline maintenance processes, and support overall lifecycle asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation & Configuration: Lead end-to-end implementation, upgrade, and enhancement cycles for SAP PM/EAM modules, including functional location structures, equipment master records, corrective/preventive maintenance, and work order management.
- Process Optimization: Analyze business requirements and map them into standard SAP EAM solutions to streamline plant maintenance operations, asset tracking, and resource planning.
- Cross-Module Integration: Configure and support integration points between SAP EAM and related modules, including MM (Materials Management), FI/CO (Financials/Controlling), PP (Production Planning), and SAP S/4HANA Asset Management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate discovery workshops, gather business requirements, design functional specifications, and present architectural solutions to business stakeholders.
- Testing & Support: Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover activities, data migration for asset records, user training, and post-go-live hypercare support.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring and implementing SAP PM / EAM modules within large enterprise environments.
- S/4HANA Expertise: Demonstrated experience with SAP S/4HANA Asset Management implementation or migration projects.
- Core Competencies:
- Deep technical understanding of Preventive Maintenance, Order Processing, Refurbishment, and Calibration processes.
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications for Asset Management and mobile maintenance solution integrations.
- Solid understanding of integration with SAP MM (spare parts procurement, inventory) and FI/CO (cost center accounting, settlement).
Skills:
- Excellent communication, remote stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Certification in Plant Maintenance / S/4HANA Asset Management.
- Experience with SAP Enterprise Asset Management add-ons (e.g., SAP Asset Performance Management, SAP Service and Asset Manager).
- Prior experience working within federal, utility, manufacturing, or healthcare sectors.
