Description: Job DescriptionAs a contingent Information Security Engineer, you will contribute to initiatives that enhance the security posture of the organization. In this role, you will support moderately complex projects and deliverables within the Information Security Engineering function. You will analyze technical challenges, evaluate variable factors, and provide informed recommendations to improve security processes and systems.
You will collaborate closely with internal partners to meet engineering objectives, applying a strong understanding of security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This role requires the ability to solve moderately complex issues, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and support large-scale planning efforts across the security engineering landscape.
Responsibilities- Participate in and provide consultation on moderately complex Information Security Engineering initiatives.
- Support large-scale planning and execution of security engineering deliverables.
- Review and analyze security challenges requiring detailed evaluation and problem-solving.
- Contribute to resolutions of moderately complex issues while ensuring alignment with established policies and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client personnel to support engineering objectives and successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications- 4+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering, or equivalent experience through a combination of:
- Professional work or consulting experience
- Technical training
- Military service
- Relevant education
