PROJECT MANAGER- need NY/NJ locals

Title: PROJECT MANAGER

Must have either Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt OR Black Belt

QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from an accredited institution or training company (Black Belt preferred)
• Preferred minimum 7 years of experience in Business Process Modeling & Management using MS Visio
• Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint version 2010 or higher
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project version 2010 or higher
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all organizational levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and execute effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with the ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience creating SOPs and documenting key process requirements; ability to provide sample work upon request to the client
• General knowledge of public mass transit assets & operations
• Expert knowledge of lean methods, waste elimination, 5S, total productive maintenance, flow, and error-proofing
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and value stream mapping
• Experience leading Kaizen or continuous improvement events and teams
• Strong project management, coordination, and multitasking skills
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and foster teamwork
• Strong judgment and decision-making abilities
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
• Ability to prepare concise and insightful reports in a timely manner
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, Access, etc.)
• Proficient in MS Visio for process mapping
• Experience with PeopleSoft HCM and Oracle HCM
• Experience with cloud migrations

CRITICAL KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency with MS Visio (required)
• Ability to conduct root-cause analysis and value stream mapping sessions
• Basic knowledge of public mass transit assets & operations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (required), Black Belt preferred
• Strong experience leading, executing, and delivering strategic and local process improvement projects
• Business process mapping using BPMN standards of the client
• Strong project management, coordination, and multitasking skills
