Position Overview

The client is seeking an experienced QA Tester / Quality Assurance Analyst to serve as a technical expert and information resource for assigned IT systems, products, and services.

The resource will be responsible for leading and executing QA testing activities, developing complex test data, documenting test results and defects, supporting application development teams, and helping improve QA processes and procedures. The role will work closely with development, technical support, security, and other IT teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert and information resource for assigned areas.
• Lead and perform testing to ensure IT systems, products, and services meet required standards.
• Work closely with application development teams throughout development, operations, technical support, and security activities.
• Lead and administer change control processes to support high-quality software delivery.
• Create complex test data for applications.
• Develop, execute, and document test scenarios and test cases.
• Document testing data, findings, defects, and QA reports.
• Report testing progress through weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly status reports.
• Perform complex workflow analysis and recommend quality improvements.
• Recommend new and improved QA practices and procedures.
• Prepare QA documentation, manuals, training materials, and training sessions.
• Provide QA resources and support to agency technical writers.
• Perform additional QA-related duties as assigned.
