Rhapsody Developer & Admin

This position supports and completes tasks necessary to design and implement a methodology to enable the Client Health Services ESB to track the transmission of messages and provide additional related services supporting the interfaces for systems connecting to the Data Hub. The role works under the direction of Client Customer Services and cross matrix teams to support and complete tasks necessary for the Client Enterprise ISA technical team. This role is integral to supporting and improving automated processes, streamlining critical business processes, ensuring data integrity, SEM/SUITE compliance, and securing applications. As a team member, the individual participates in a variety of assignments that provide for the enhancement, integration, maintenance, and implementation of projects. The role also provides application oversight to business analysts and other teams integrating with the Health Enterprise Service Bus (HESB). Not having a System Administrator on staff will delay ongoing and future project work within the area and lead to the Client's inability to deliver on prioritized enhancements and maintenance from HESB to all major applications.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Developing solutions for new use cases
• Developing interfaces based on business requirements and specifications
• Creating technical requirements and system design based on business requirements
• Developing custom filters as required using Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK)
• Creating mappers and mapper definitions using EDI message designer
• Writing JavaScript code on Rhapsody using JavaScript(v1) and JavaScript(v2) filters
• Developing API calls for SOAP, REST, and web service calls
• Data format translations from HL7v2, HL7 V3, FHIR, CCDA, XML, JSON, and flat files as required
• Working on CDA mapping and conversions
• Preparing code review SUITE SDLC documents
• Developing database connections for MSSQL or Oracle databases
• Developing TCP, HTTP, LLP, and OAUTH connections as per the standards
• Responsible for overall system design
• Responsible for overall code and configuration

• Custom message payload translation from one format (e.g., JSON, XML, HL7) to a different format (e.g., proprietary/legacy format)
• Experience using web services, SOAP, REST, OAUTH, TCP-connections, LLP, etc.
• Experience using transport encryption/security; TLS, mutual authorization via certificates, etc.
