Business Insights Lead - Remote / Telecommute

• The Business Insights Lead will drive performance measurement, executive reporting, and data-driven decision support across acquisition, onboarding, and retention programs.
• This role is responsible for building scalable analytics frameworks, automating reporting infrastructure, and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership.
• The ideal candidate combines strong technical data skills with strategic business acumen and exceptional communication abilities.

Performance Measurement And Insights:

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards tracking acquisition, onboarding, and retention performance.
• Develop KPIs and scorecards that provide real-time visibility into business health and funnel performance.
• Analyze conversion rates, drop-off points, and program effectiveness.
• Recommend improvements to increase impact, efficiency, and ROI.

• Synthesize complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for C-level executives and senior leadership.
• Deliver concise, data-driven narratives highlighting opportunities, risks, and outcomes.
• Provide regular business performance reviews including forecasts, pacing analysis, and gap-to-goal reporting.
• Translate complex analysis into business-focused recommendations.

• Build and scale automated reporting pipelines to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
• Partner with engineering and data science teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Own SQL-based querying, data wrangling, and dataset transformations.
• Implement scalable reporting and analytics frameworks.

• Provide ad hoc analysis to cross-functional teams including RevOps, Field Operations, and Marketing.
• Create standardized frameworks for program evaluation and reporting.
• Partner with program managers to define and measure success metrics for pilots and new initiatives.
• Support ROI measurement and performance optimization initiatives.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in SQL for large dataset querying and transformation.
• Strong expertise in Excel and Google Sheets including modeling, pivot tables, scenario analysis, and data visualization.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau.
• Familiarity with data automation tools such as Airflow, dbt, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of data engineering concepts including schemas, joins, pipelines, and ETL processes.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, written business insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to present findings effectively to non-technical senior stakeholders.

• Experience analyzing sales funnels across acquisition, conversion, and retention stages.
• Familiarity with growth, marketing, or operations analytics.
• Understanding of marketplace dynamics and supply-demand balance preferred.
• Experience in program evaluation and ROI measurement.

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in high-growth or platform/marketplace environments.
• Familiarity with RevOps or services and sales program management.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or related field.
