Position Overview – Child Care Domain Required

PruTech is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to serve as the critical link between business stakeholders and delivery teams on large-scale software implementation programs. The ideal candidate has led requirements and analysis activities on enterprise software implementations with total budgets exceeding $10 million and is skilled at translating complex business objectives into clear, actionable requirements that drive successful delivery. In this role, you will own the analysis workstream across the full project lifecycle — from discovery and requirements elicitation through design, testing, and go-live — while managing diverse stakeholder groups and mitigating delivery risk on high-value engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation across enterprise software implementation programs valued at $10M or more
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, executive sponsors, solution architects, and development teams
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and stakeholder interviews to define program scope and objectives
  • Translate complex business needs into detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications (FRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Develop process flows and current-state/future-state analysis to guide solution design
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements aligned with business objectives
  • Manage scope, traceability, and change control across the requirements baseline

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Plans and leads the analysis workstream for large, multi-phase software implementation projects, coordinating across multiple teams and vendors
  • Elicits, validates, and prioritizes requirements from business and technical stakeholders, resolving conflicting priorities
  • Produces and maintains comprehensive documentation including BRDs, FRDs, use cases, user stories, process maps, and requirements traceability matrices
  • Partners with solution architects and developers to ensure proposed solutions satisfy documented requirements and business goals
  • Defines acceptance criteria and supports the development of test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities
  • Coordinates and facilitates UAT, capturing defects and managing resolution with delivery teams
  • Identifies, tracks, and escalates project risks, dependencies, and issues that may impact scope, timeline, or budget
  • Supports project managers with effort estimation, scope definition, and status reporting on high-value engagements
  • Provides post-implementation support, user training materials, and process optimization recommendations
  • Manages stakeholder expectations and communications across executive, business, and technical audiences

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 10+ years of business analysis experience, with a proven track record on enterprise software implementation projects
  • Demonstrated experience leading analysis on software implementation projects with total budgets exceeding $10 million
  • Expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, traceability matrices)
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops and manage diverse, senior-level stakeholder groups
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to varied audiences
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Experience with process modeling and requirements tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple concurrent workstreams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-PBA, or CSPO
  • Experience delivering implementations in regulated industries (Government, Financial Services, Healthcare)
  • Experience working with system integration, package implementation, or custom software delivery
  • Familiarity with data migration, integration patterns, and reporting/analytics requirements
  • Experience working with nearshore and offshore delivery teams
  • Exposure to vendor management and statement of work (SOW) scope definition
  • Based on the East Coast or able to support East Coast working hours and client locations
