Job Description:
About the Role:
TheFlavor Line Mechanicpositionis responsible formaintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This role supports production by minimizing downtime, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and adhering to all safety and quality standards.You will be performing the following tasks, including but not limited to:

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all types of production equipment.
• Operate power tools and basic shop machinery to complete repairs, modifications, and equipment improvements.
• Always Follow andcomply withGood Manufacturing Practices (GMPS).
• Proactively collaborate with managers and team members toidentify, assess, and resolve mechanical and equipment issues.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime, weekends, or varied schedules as needed.
• Previousexperience working in the food industry is highly desirable.

Important Details:

• Thisis a full-time permanent roleon the 2ndshift, whichoperatesMonday through Friday, with some Saturdays. Overtime may be available, depending on the needs of the business.Theanticipatedstarting wage rate for this position is$26.55 to $31.55 per hour plus $0.60 shift differential.

You\'llfit right in if you have:

• Experience Highspeed packagingin Consumerfoodproductorpharmaceuticalsrequired
• Experience withover headbox conveyors and bulk delivery and storagerequired
• One or two years ofhands onexperience in manufacturing/industrial maintenance activities.
• Ability to use measuring tools such ascaliper, tapemeasureand micrometers.
• Familiaritywith metricsystemandunits of measurements.
• Read andcomprehendmachineuser manuals,tehcnicaldrawings/blue printsand follow SOP instructions.
• Properly usehand and shop tools in a safe manner.
• Be able to assemble/disassemble components like bearings, bushings, gears, sprockets, etc.
• Machine shop and welding experienceispreferred.
• Electrical knowledge and experienceisa plus, such as usinga multimeter, troubleshooting sensors, motor starters, etc.
• Be familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices, Lock out/Tag out andwork placesafety practices.
• Technical collegedegreeor certificates are preferred.
