Salary Range: $210,000-$230,000, depending on experience.
What You Will Do:

The Systems Engineer will provide technical leadership throughout the full system engineering lifecycle, supporting the development, integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing evolution of complex hardware and software systems. This role will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to translate operational needs and high-level concepts into well-defined, achievable, and verifiable system requirements.

The Systems Engineer will analyze system requirements, develop system architectures and design solutions, and guide integration and implementation activities. Responsibilities will include deriving lower-level requirements from higher-level requirements, defining system and component interfaces, evaluating alternative system concepts, and ensuring requirements remain complete, accurate, traceable, and technically feasible.

This individual will also contribute to system engineering plans, requirements specifications, interface control documentation, system design documentation, integration and test plans, and other technical documentation. The Engineer will support design reviews, test activities, configuration management, risk assessment, and cross-functional coordination throughout the system lifecycle. Additionally, the role will help maintain the technical integrity of system baselines as systems progress from development through deployment, operations, and maintenance.

Our minimum requirements for this role:
  • Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline
  • Five (5) additional years of Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing and managing system and derived requirements
  • Experience with system architecture and system design
  • Experience supporting the integration and testing of complex hardware and software systems
  • Experience developing systems engineering and technical documentation
  • Experience with requirements analysis, functional allocation, interface definition, and system requirements reviews
  • Experience developing system integration and test plans
  • Experience coordinating technical activities across multiple engineering teams and disciplines
  • Experience supporting configuration management, risk management, and system lifecycle activities
