Class A CDL Driver - Hazmat & Tanker

Qualifications
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
  • Ability to pass all DOT-required screenings, including drug testing and physical examination, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Minimum of 12 months of commercial motor vehicle (CMV) driving experience
  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in the use of computers, tablets, or handheld devices for electronic logging, dispatch communication, and delivery documentation Essential Job Functions
  • Safely operate fuel tanker trucks to transport and deliver fuel to customer locations
  • Load and unload fuel accurately, ensuring correct product type and quantity
  • Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and regulatory compliance
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures related to the transportation of hazardous materials
  • Maintain accurate electronic and/or written records, including delivery documentation and vehicle maintenance logs
  • Communicate efficiently with dispatch, supervisors, and team members regarding routes, schedules, and delivery status
  • Report mechanical issues, accidents, incidents, or traffic violations in a timely manner
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations

Physical and Environmental Requirements

The following requirements are representative of those that must be met to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Ability to repetitively pull up to 100 pounds for distances of approximately 100-150 feet
  • Ability to perform frequent and repetitive hand and arm movements while operating equipment and controls
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including up to 10-12 hours during a 14-hour shift ? Ability to work in a physically demanding role and in varying weather and environmental conditions
  • Ability to safely enter and exit vehicles multiple times a day and access fuel delivery equipment
