Summary

Position Title: Draft Engineers

Most drafters never see what they draw come to life. Here, every drafter starts with a full shop tour and then watches their work get built, in a newly renovated facility that grew out of a downtown brownfield redevelopment. The Draft Engineers join a social draft room, working alongside a lead designer on 3D models and shop drawings for architectural wall systems. They interact daily with architects, engineers, and design consultants, as well as internal teams in manufacturing and project management.

This is a growing, family-owned company where people are known personally, and where the owners are invested in the local community and in bringing manufacturing jobs back to Allentown. The leadership is investing in the design and drafting group, and the paths beyond drafting are clear. The head of the department started as a drafter, moved into project management, and now runs both the drafting and engineering departments. Drafters can advance to designer, and the right person can move into project management, manufacturing management, or engineering. Start times are flexible, and work from home is available as needed for self-sufficient team members.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 / Year DOE
