Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled React / .NET C# Developer to join our team for a 6-month onsite engagement in Boise, ID. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building modern frontend applications using React and developing scalable backend services using .NET technologies. This role involves working across the full stack, integrating APIs, and contributing to cloud-based and serverless solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, component-based user interfaces using React
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Integrate third-party APIs and internal services
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Implement unit and integration tests
- Work with cloud-based and serverless architectures (AWS)
- Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
- Ensure application security, scalability, and performance
Required Skills & Experience
Frontend (React & JavaScript)
- 4+ years of experience with React (modern UI development)
- 4+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with Node.js and NPM-based development workflows
Backend (.NET / C#)
- 4+ years of experience with C# and .NET (preferably .NET 6/8)
- Strong experience with ASP.NET Core for REST API development
- Experience with dependency injection
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming (async/await)
API Development & Integration
- 4+ years of experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Experience with controllers, model validation, and attributes
- Nice to have: Experience working with SOAP APIs, XML, and HttpClient
Testing
- 2+ years of experience with NUnit for unit and integration testing
- Experience using RestSharp for API testing
- Strong experience with JSON serialization (System.Text.Json, Newtonsoft.Json)
Cloud & Serverless
- 3+ years of experience with AWS Lambda (C#)
- Experience using AWS SDK (e.g., Secrets Manager, SES)
- Understanding of serverless architecture patterns
- Nice to have: Experience with OpenSearch
Containerization
- 2+ years of experience with Docker and Docker Compose
DevOps & Tools
- 4+ years of experience with Git and version control workflows
- Experience with Visual Studio
- Nice to have: CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deploy automation)
- Nice to have: API testing tools like Postman or Yakk
Security
- Knowledge of AWS security best practices (IAM, Secrets Manager)
- Understanding of data protection (in transit and at rest)
- Nice to have: Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices
