Microsoft Foundry (Azure AI Foundry / AI Engineer)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Foundry / Azure AI Engineer to join our client’s team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with Microsoft AI platforms, Azure AI services, and enterprise AI solution development.

This role involves designing, building, and deploying AI-driven applications using Microsoft Foundry and Azure AI ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI solutions using Microsoft Azure AI Foundry

• Build and deploy Generative AI and LLM-based applications

• Integrate AI solutions with Azure services and enterprise systems

• Develop APIs and microservices to expose AI capabilities

• Implement prompt engineering and model orchestration

• Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and application teams

• Ensure scalability, security, and performance of AI applications

• Support deployment using Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipelines

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry

• Experience with Azure OpenAI / Cognitive Services

• Proficiency in Python or .NET

• Experience building LLM-based applications

• Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices

• Experience with Prompt Engineering and RAG architectures

• Familiarity with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure DevOps

Preferred Skills

• Experience with LangChain or Semantic Kernel

• Knowledge of vector databases (Azure AI Search, Pinecone, etc.)

• Experience deploying AI models in enterprise environments

• Familiarity with MLOps practices
