Diagnostics Systems Engineer The Platform Systems, Integration, and Test Team at Latitude is responsible for the design, integration, and testing of all interface functions between the self-driving technology and vehicle platform. These functions include motion control, fault handling, and controls integration, along with the overall vehicle architecture. We specialize in parallelized development of prototype functionality and production designs, enabling us to rapidly develop feature intent functionality without incurring significant technical debt.
What you ll do: - Author requirements for diagnostics for a new vehicle platform, inclusive of system and subsystem level requirements
- Author test cases for diagnostics
- Conduct reviews and acquire approval for these requirements and test cases
- Ensure traceability to product requirements
- Ensure implementation of the requirements meets requirements through integration testing
- Actively collaborate with systems and software peers to ensure correct implementation and integration of functionality
What you'll need to succeed: - Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience writing formal system requirements
- Experience working with Jama
- Experience working with GitHub
- Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude
