We are seeking an Infrastructure Service Engineer to join our SETC Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) team in Richardson, TX. The program you'll support takes great pride in leading the way in defense and aerospace technology cloud infrastructure.

What You Will Do
  • Provide direct Engineering support to a large scale on-prem private cloud with datacenters around the world
  • Contribute to delivering and maintaining operations/dev/test systems across multiple tenants within our enterprise.
  • Work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who lead the industry in ground-systems solutions.
  • Assist external tenants by resolving issues and guiding them through future environment changes.
  • Contribute to system maintenance, installation, and problem resolution.
  • Research and resolve system-design issues.
  • Translate requirements and design specifications into component design and implementation.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience on a technical team that delivers a product
  • Experience working within an Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery model.
  • Experience with server functions to include storage, networking, and/or computation/processing.
  • Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience understanding peer review, configuration, and change management processes.
  • Experience with ServiceNow (Scrum Master training preferred).
  • Experience with virtual provisioning of compute, network, storage and various infrastructure services.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
