Job Description
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful Web Services and a proven ability to deliver end-to-end features from user experience through backend services with high quality and accountability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and engineer end-to-end product features across UI and backend services.
- Apply a cloud-first and agile mindset to deliver solutions to business problems.
- Act as a subject matter expert, collaborate across teams, and contribute to key technical decisions.
- Own areas of the software delivery process to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Provide guidance to less experienced colleagues and promote best practices.
- Analyze complex technical challenges and contribute to effective solution designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align development with business goals.
- Continuously improve development processes and advocate appropriate new technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in Java Full Stack development.
- Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful Web Services, each with 8+ years of experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ownership of deliverables.
- Effective communication and collaboration across teams.
- College degree preferred in Information Technology or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Python programming.
- Application Design.
- Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark.
- Jenkins for CI/CD.
Additional Details:
- Work location: Jersey City, NJ. This is an in-office role.
- No vaccination mandate. Candidates need not be local. No visa restrictions.
- Client will not cover travel or expenses. Industry experience not required.
