D365 Techno-Functional SME

Role Summary
The D365 Solution Lead will be responsible for reviewing the current Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations landscape, evaluating existing customizations, identifying opportunities to leverage standard product capabilities, and guiding future-state ERP architecture decisions. The role requires deep functional and technical knowledge of D365 F&O, strong business-process understanding, and the ability to work closely with business leaders, architects, and delivery teams. The individual will serve as an advisor to the customer while supporting modernization, optimization, and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead current-state assessment of D365 F&O implementation.
- Review existing customizations, extensions, workflows, reports, and integrations.
- Identify opportunities to replace custom-built capabilities with standard D365 functionality.
- Evaluate technical debt and supportability risks.
- Define future-state ERP architecture and optimization roadmap.
- Work with business leadership to understand pain points and improvement opportunities.
- Guide D365 enhancement and redesign activities.
- Review security models, approval workflows, and business rules.
- Mentor functional and technical consultants.
- Support modernization and automation initiatives.
- Participate in executive steering meetings and governance forums.
