Java Developer

Introduction:

The Java Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java-based backend applications as well as Angular-based front-end user interfaces. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and create seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based backend applications, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Work with spring boot, messaging queues, caching, and tools like Kafka and Redis.
• Develop and maintain Angular-based front-end user interfaces with a focus on responsiveness, usability, and ADA/WCAG compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and implement requirements.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure system reliability.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Java and Angular development.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot), Hibernate/JPA, Message queuing, and caching.
• Advanced skills in Angular (Angular 6+ required), Typescript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience designing, creating, and documenting RESTful API using Spring Boot and Open API.
• Practical knowledge of middleware platforms like Apache Kafka, Redis, and BOOMI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and dynamic environment configuration.
• Experience developing wireframes and mock-ups for design concepts.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, Iterative, and waterfall development methodologies.

Top Required Skills & Years of Experience:

• 5+ years working with Java and spring framework/spring boot.
• 5+ years in web applications development, web services, REST API.
• 3+ years in Messaging Queues and Caching using tools like Kafka and Redis.
• 2+ years of work in Angular development.
• 5+ years working with Relational databases like Oracle.
