Sheet Metal Mechanic (HVAC) 4 Openings

Location: Lewisville, TX (Onsite)
Start Date: 03/30 (We will have NEW roles after this coming down the pipeline, so please apply and confirm when you can start a new role)
Duration: 6-month contract
Schedule: 6 days/week, 12-hour shifts (~70+ hours/week)

What this role is

We are hiring 4 Sheet Metal Mechanics to support HVAC installations on high-tech, mission-critical projects within advanced manufacturing environments.

This role is 100% hands-on installation of ductwork and ventilation systems ideal for mechanics who are used to working long hours on fast-paced commercial or industrial job sites.

What you ll do

• Install and assemble HVAC duct systems (supply, return, exhaust)

• Work on specialty exhaust systems (chemical, acid, process exhaust)

• Read and work from blueprints, isometric drawings, and coordinated layouts

• Perform layout, cutting, fitting, and installation of sheet metal components

• Install VAV boxes, dampers, and air distribution systems

• Execute field modifications and troubleshoot install issues independently

• Work in controlled or clean environments with strict standards

• Coordinate with other trades (pipefitters, plumbers, etc.)

• Ensure installs meet airflow, quality, and project specifications

What you need

• 5+ years of HVAC sheet metal experience

• Strong experience installing ductwork systems (not just fabrication)

• Ability to read and work from mechanical/HVAC drawings independently

• Experience with:

  • Air distribution systems (VAVs, dampers)

  • Exhaust and ventilation systems

• Ability to work long hours (70+ hrs/week) onsite

Nice to have

• Cleanroom, semiconductor, or high-tech facility experience

• Experience with specialty exhaust systems (acid/chemical)

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
