About the Role
We are seeking C#/.NET Developer who treat software development as a craft—engineers who enjoy building reliable systems, improving performance, and delivering scalable server-side capabilities. In this role, you’ll help create and enhance high-volume backend features, design robust web services, and contribute to distributed server systems that support console clients, browser clients, and external server integrations.
Key Responsibilities
-
Build and enhance high-volume, highly scalable server-side features using C#, .NET, Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server (MSSQL)
-
Design and develop web services/APIs supporting game console clients, browser clients, and external server clients
-
Contribute to the development of highly reliable distributed server systems, including fault tolerance and resiliency improvements
-
Drive web performance optimization, including profiling, tuning, and reducing latency under load
-
Apply best practices for scalability, security, and performance across service and API layers
-
Partner with engineering stakeholders and collaborate with technology teams across worldwide

Participate in Agile ceremonies and work in an iterative, delivery-focused environment

Maintain clean, maintainable code using solid OO design principles and proven design patterns

Use source control (preferably Perforce) with strong discipline around branching, merging, and review workflows
Required Qualifications
-
6+ years of experience building scalable distributed systems in production environments
-
Strong expertise in C#/.NET (and/or C++ as a plus depending on project alignment)

Excellent computer science fundamentals, including deep knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and concepts

Proven experience with API design and development (REST and service-oriented patterns)

Strong understanding of web service scalability, performance, and security practices

Solid database development experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)

Hands-on experience with source control, ideally Perforce
-
Working knowledge of Agile software development processes
Nice to Have (Preferred)
-
Experience building services that support multiple client types (console/mobile/web/external services)

Experience tuning IIS/.NET applications for performance and throughput
-
Background in large-scale consumer platforms, gaming, media, or high-traffic digital products
