At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Systems Administrator Associate you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a TS/SCI level-eligible cleared Systems Administrator joining our team to support our Intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.

HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

- Assists with routine technical support in the management of systems, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures

- Helps troubleshoot system hardware and software issues

- Assist end users on the proper use of hardware and software

- Assists with basic software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages

- Assists with monitoring and tuning of systems to achieve optimum performance levels

- Aids with ensuring workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions

- Helps ensure data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations

- Assists with basic hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines

- Helps to ensure that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Requirements:

• Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree - 0+ years of related experience
• Understanding of operating systems, hardware setup, system configuration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of managing servers, deploying software updates and ensuring system security against threats.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery best practices.
• Eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $70,550.00 - $95,450.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
