Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Consultant

Location: Redmond, WA

Contract

Role Overview

  • As a Business Intelligence Consultant, you will bridge the gap between complex data environments and strategic business goals. You won’t just be "building dashboards"; you will be designing end-to-end analytics solutions, from data architecture and ETL processes to high-impact visualizations.
  • You must be comfortable speaking "SQL" to developers and "ROI" to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering: Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to identify KPIs and define reporting requirements.
  • Data Architecture & ETL: Design and implement robust data models and automated ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure data integrity.
  • Visualization & Insights: Develop intuitive, high-performance dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) that drive actionable insights.
  • Optimization: Audit existing data environments to improve query performance and reporting scalability.
  • Strategic Advisory: Act as a subject matter expert on data governance, best practices, and the selection of new tools in the modern data stack.
  • Training: Conduct workshops to empower end-users to adopt a self-service analytics culture.
