About the Role
Our client, a global provider of advanced technology solutions serving the architecture, engineering, and construction industries, is seeking a SketchUp Technical Support professional. This role supports users of an industry-leading 3D modeling platform by delivering excellent customer service, resolving technical issues, and helping customers manage accounts, subscriptions, and software functionality. You will play a key part in ensuring a smooth, high-quality customer experience for a diverse and global user base.
In this role, you will engage with customers in a friendly, empathetic, and professional manner while actively listening, asking clarifying questions, and building rapport. You will manage approximately 25 email requests and 10 phone inquiries per day while meeting service-level expectations. Responsibilities include reviewing all customer communication in plain language, documenting each case accurately, and managing personal queues to resolve aging requests.
You will provide support across multiple channels—phone, chat, email, and request queues—and assist with account and subscription management, refunds, and a wide range of technical issues related to SketchUp. These include billing, authorization, entitlement management, installation, extensions, crash identification, and bug tracking. You will apply knowledge base resources effectively, follow communication and incident protocols, and stay current on products, promotions, and internal systems through continuous training.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a customer solutions environment
- 2+ years of experience supporting SaaS applications
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to tailor solutions for diverse users
- Technical proficiency with computer systems, software, and Google Suite
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening, empathy, and adaptable communication styles
- Strong time management and prioritization skills to deliver timely, high-quality responses
- High attention to detail when identifying issues and documenting case notes
- Ability to remain composed and professional in high-pressure situations
- Troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues effectively
- Comfortable working remotely, with occasional in-office meetings
- Undergraduate degree or experience in SaaS support
- Knowledge of 3D modeling, 3D graphics processing, or energy performance
- Background in Engineering, Architecture, Design, or User Experience
- Experience in a customer support center environment
- Experience with multiple operating systems (Windows, Android, iOS, macOS)
- Familiarity with customer support software, ticketing systems, and remote support tools
