Data Management Manager - Enterprise Platforms
Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite/Hybrid)
Job Type: 6-Month Contract (Potential Extension/Conversion)

About the Role:
We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Data Management Manager to lead enterprise data initiatives across operational, historical, and next-generation data platforms. You'll oversee data architecture, governance, and modernization efforts, while driving the transition to scalable, cloud-based data solutions. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on building strong teams, improving data quality, and enabling data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor cross-functional teams (Data Architects, Analysts, DBAs, PMs)
Drive data governance, quality, and master data management initiatives
Establish data architecture standards, policies, and best practices
Partner with engineering and leadership on data platform transformation
Oversee migration to modern data platforms (Data Lake/Lakehouse)
Ensure compliance, data security, and regulatory standards
Manage delivery timelines, risks, and multiple concurrent initiatives

Required Qualifications:

10+ years in data management, data architecture, or data governance
7+ years leading cross-functional data teams
Strong experience managing enterprise database platforms
Proven success in Master Data Management (MDM) programs
Experience driving data governance and quality frameworks
Ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced environments
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Experience in data platform transformation or modernization
Background working with enterprise-scale data ecosystems
