Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Vendor Management Operations (VMO) Analyst to serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders, procurement, and external vendors. This role focuses on purchase order (PO) lifecycle management, vendor governance, and budget alignment in a fast-paced SaaS/Technology environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in vendor operations, procurement execution, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring efficient vendor onboarding, contract compliance, and seamless execution of procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor & Procurement Operations

  • Manage end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding
  • Execute purchase order (PO) creation, tracking, and approvals
  • Ensure PO alignment with budgets, contracts, and procurement policies
  • Monitor vendor performance, SLAs, and delivery timelines
  • Resolve vendor-related issues, discrepancies, and escalations

Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

  • Act as a bridge between business teams, finance, procurement, and vendors
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand upcoming demand and project needs
  • Support alignment of procurement activities with business priorities
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams and external suppliers

Budget & Spend Support

  • Track vendor spend against allocated budgets
  • Support forecasting of vendor-related costs based on project demand
  • Assist in identifying cost optimization opportunities
  • Provide visibility into procurement pipelines and commitments

Contract & Compliance Management

  • Support contract lifecycle management (MSA, SOW, NDA, renewals)
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and audit requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation for vendor and PO records
  • Work closely with Legal and Finance teams for approvals and governance

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 3–8+ years of experience in Vendor Management, Procurement Operations, or VMO roles
  • Strong experience with purchase order (PO) lifecycle management
  • Hands-on experience with procurement tools such as:
    • SAP / Oracle / Ariba / Coupa / ServiceNow
  • Strong Excel skills (reporting, tracking, analysis)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in SaaS / Software / Technology companies (MANDATORY preferred)
  • Exposure to vendor governance, SLAs, and contract lifecycle management tools (CLM)
  • Experience in fast-paced, global, or enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with SaaS procurement, IT vendors, or cloud services
