In the role of Project Manager Assistant, we'll count on you to:
- Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and delivering Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects focused on system hardening, grid resiliency, and storm-hardening initiatives.
- Coordinate day-to-day project execution across engineering, construction, permitting, and field operations teams to ensure compliance with utility standards
- Track project budgets, forecasts, change orders, and cost-to-complete metrics; help maintain financial reporting and documentation.
- Manage project schedules, identify critical path items, and support mitigation plans to keep T&D projects on track.
- Coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's life cycle (from development and initiation to close-out), while under supervision of a Project Manager
- Responsible for many aspects of a small project or a single aspect of a larger project
- Coordinate workload through project execution and complete deliverables on budget and schedule
- Work with the Project Manager, Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications- PMP certification
- Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Experience
QualificationsRequired Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5 years related experience
- Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
