• Location: Pittsburgh, PA (preferred), Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, Farmers Branch, TX, Phoenix, AZ 

• Contract: W2 only, 6-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full-time  

• Pay: $80/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match 

Overview 

This position involves designing and implementing high availability configurations for mainframe environments. The role requires effective communication and coordination of schedules, roadmaps, and deployment activities to ensure continuous operation and minimal disruption. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Architect and communicate the high availability configuration for the mainframe, including all change management and testing required. 

• Communicate and coordinate schedule, roadmap, and deployment. 

• Advise on mainframe hardware and software initiatives. 

• Collaborate with managers, engineers, and product owners across all aspects of mainframe hardware and software. 

• Establish high availability on a mainframe platform to ensure minimal disruption during failures or maintenance.
