Role: Employee Relations Specialist/Manager
Location: Remote (100%) (PST)
Duration: 3+ months
Overview: The client is in the telecommunications/media space and is looking for hands-on Employee Relations support to address a backlog of approximately 30-40 active ER cases. The matters are described as primarily BA/performance-related, with a significant portion tied to a California workforce.
The "lead” designation is more about seniority, independent judgment, triage and knowing when to escalate sensitive ER matters versus formal people management. We need someone who can help prioritize cases, operate independently, and provide a steady hand on more nuanced matters. Telecom/media experience is helpful, but not hard requirements.
Skillsets Needed:
· Employee Relations case management experience
· Investigations experience
· Performance management matter support
· Strong documentation and writing skills
· Ability to triage multiple cases at once
· Judgment to identify when matters need escalation to legal/OGC
· Comfort operating independently with limited day-to-day supervision
· California workforce/ER experience would be helpful
