Overview:
Location: Hybrid – Albany, NY
Salary: $100,000 - $103,000

We are seeking a .Net Developer who will support our NYS client by building and maintaining enterprise applications that help modernize public-sector IT services. This role will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders, and contribute to high-quality application delivery using modern development practices. The ideal candidate is a hands-on full-stack developer with strong .Net experience, familiarity with Agile/DevSecOps environments, and the ability to adapt across frameworks, databases, and cloud-native tools.

Duties:

Responsibilities will include translation of the business requirement and use cases to develop enterprise applications and unit testing of same.
Work with the technical leads and architects to transform the high- and low-level system design into technical components.
Develop applications based on technical requirements, design & architecture principles & standards.
Produce work products and applications that reflect and ensure system design and delivery are in line with business needs and project plan.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned

Mandatory Qualifications:

Associates degree or combination of experience and education.
4 – 7 years of experience as a Developer
7+ years of experience in utilizing a variety of technologies and frameworks to achieve project goals, adapting to new tools as necessary with hands-on experience in full stack development using .Net Framework, .Net Core, J2EE, Spring boot, Java, C# or similar modern OO programming language, Web Services, Database, or web application development.
5+ years of experience working on complex projects including developing applications using SOA Design patterns, Microservices Containerization using Docker or OpenShift, Databases (including SQL Server, Oracle, and No SQL Databases) and Object-Relational Mapping frameworks and experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
5+ years of experience in developing responsive web applications with DevSecOps tools and processes (e.g. Azure DevOps, Git, SonarQube) to include experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery techniques.
5+ years of experience in implementing web applications using scripting languages such as Java Script, jQuery, Angular, React.
Experience in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge sharing, and maintain high standards of software quality.
Experience with demonstration of solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Experience with Test Driven Development and automated testing unit testing frameworks.
