Summary

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary MRB representative for disposition of non-conforming aircraft structures, systems, or components.
  • Review and approve dispositions including Use-As-Is, Repair, Rework, and Scrap.
  • Assess engineering, manufacturing, quality, cost, and schedule impacts of non-conformances.
  • Lead cross-functional technical reviews and drive resolution strategies.
  • Author and approve repair instructions in compliance with design requirements and certification standards.
  • Exercise delegated authority within approved MRB processes and governance frameworks.
  • Present complex dispositions to senior engineering leadership and customer representatives when required.
  • Support FAA, EASA, and customer audits related to MRB activities.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of aerospace engineering, MRB, MRE, Liaison Engineering, or manufacturing support experience.
  • Experience reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and production documentation.
  • Knowledge of aircraft structures, systems, and production processes.
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations, aerospace standards, and certification requirements.
  • Strong technical judgment and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Boeing commercial aircraft structural configuration knowledge & experience (737, 747, 767, 777, 777X or 787 aircrafts ).
  • Experience with MRB, concessions, deviations, and non-conformance dispositioning.
  • Knowledge of metallic and composite structures.
  • Proficiency with CATIA V5, Teamcenter, ENOVIA, SAP, and related engineering systems.
  • Delegated engineering approval authority experience.
  • AS9100 and aerospace quality system knowledge.
  • Desired basic familiarity with metal & composites manufacturing aspects & aircraft assembly line shop floor processes
